Singapore: Yesterday, Huttons Group announced outstanding achievements and several key initiatives for the community, company, and their associates’ future growth.

Huttons Gala Awards was held on 8 April 2024 at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Grand Ballroom with Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and National Development, as the Guest-of-Honour.

The event brought together more than 1,000 Huttons associates and members of the real estate community to celebrate the recent recognition in High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2024 awarded by The Financial Times and Statista.

As Singapore’s Largest Private Real Estate Agency, Huttons emphasises on authenticity and relevancy and will continue to empower the community via new initiatives.

Mr Mark Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Huttons Group said, “The theme for this year Gala Awards is Driven by Dreams. While we chase our dreams, we strongly encourage everyone to lead an active and healthy lifestyle!”

Huttons has several sports interest groups from badminton, golf, running to soccer which are open to all including our friends from other agencies. Look out for our new basketball and yoga interest groups in 2Q 2024 and real estate golf challenge in 3Q 2024!

“We will be levelling up to the national level in 2024 by supporting Pesta Sukan, Singapore’s largest multi-sports competition in the community under Sport Singapore. This will be part of GetActive! Singapore (GASG), a national movement to celebrate National Day through sports. Over 30 sports competitions, including para sports will be held leading up to National Day. This is a true testament of Huttons’ commitment towards community building, engaging and connecting with members of the public across all age groups,” says Mr Yip.

“Sport Singapore is pleased to embark on this collaboration with Huttons Asia. Over the years, Pesta Sukan has continued to promote camaraderie through friendly competitions as part of GetActive! Singapore, the annual National Day celebration through sport. We look forward to building on this momentum with Huttons coming onboard our network of partners this year. Through offerings such as our ActiveSG Corporate Membership and Active Health programmes, we will in turn be able to support Huttons’ commitment towards an active and healthy lifestyle for its agents, and provide curated programmes to fit their schedules and preferences. We hope more corporates will partner us to help their employees and other Singaporeans live better through sport,” said Mr Tan Hock Leong, Chief, ActiveSG, Sport Singapore.

As Singapore’s largest private real estate agency, Huttons is one of the key players in the built environment industry. Huttons strongly believes in sustainable development and greening our environment to help the nation achieve its long-term net zero emissions aspirations by 2050.

Huttons has also been supporting National Parks Board’s (NParks’) OneMillionTrees movement since August 2022 and raised more than $40,000 for the Plant-A-Tree programme under Garden City Fund, a registered charity and IPC, established by NParks. This year, the effort is expanded externally through the inaugural Huttons x OneMillionTrees Sustainability Walk with the support of Sport Singapore. Huttons hopes to bring people together to appreciate local parks, plant trees to support Singapore’s transformation into a City in Nature, a key pillar under the Singapore Green Plan 2030, and at the same time, encourage an active lifestyle.

“We are grateful to Huttons for supporting the Plant-A-Tree programme. This partnership exemplifies Huttons’ dedication to environmental stewardship and community involvement, and their support will serve as an inspiring example to encourage others to join us in realising our vision of becoming a City in Nature,” says Professor Leo Tan, Garden City Fund Chairman.

“The buzzword in the industry and around the world for the past two years is Artificial Intelligence (AI)! It will be one of the most powerful tools to drive the economy in the coming years. Huttons has spent considerable resources to integrate AI in a meaningful way to drive efficiency and productivity for our associates. We will launch an AI-powered Automated Valuation Model, AI-chatbot and app for our associates!” adds Mr Yip.

Ms Indranee said, “Today we are seeing the growth of generative AI. These powerful AI tools are impacting all industries, forcing businesses to rethink how they operate. To stay relevant, the real estate sector will have to harness technology and see it as a friend, not a foe. Hence, I am heartened to know that Huttons is doing just that, incorporating AI technology in your products, to facilitate your engagement and interaction with your customers. Through Huttons’ Super App and SuperPal applications, detailed reports, planning and financial calculations are just a click away.”

The AI-powered Automated Valuation Model (AVM) called H-Value uses intelligent machine learning algorithms to estimate the values of resale condominiums and HDB flats. The valuation report will help consumers to make more confident property decisions.

Leveraging on generative AI, Huttons AI-chatbot, SuperPal will help to answer associates’ queries by drawing content from Huttons and other authoritative sources. For instance, they can type a quick search based on client’s criteria and budget, the results will showcase resale or project listings and other recommendations based on keywords. Alternatively, associates can also search by preferred MRT stations, Districts, Schools within 1km and more options.

H-Value and SuperPal will be integrated within Huttons Super App. This AI-powered app merges all Huttons current apps – Analyzer, Link Up and Pro+ into ONE. Furthermore, associates can personalise their own user experience through customisable user interface.

To prepare for the full digitisation of real estate transactions in the near future, Huttons also launched Huttons Integrated Transaction System (HITS)! This new system will help streamline transaction processes with digitalised CEA forms, e-CDD, AML checks and documents submission. Clients will be able to sign using Singpass or e-sign through a link. Comprehensive insights of sales performance and reports are also available, enabling associates to access vital data and strategically plan for future growth.

HITS has a built-in customer and document management functions which can help improve relationships with clients and productivity. The system also automates digital invoices with PayNow options and agent review QR codes to facilitate customers’ experience. Huttons will keep the transformation and innovation going to keep up with the ever-changing market.

Last but not least, Huttons will be supporting a home-grown startup, Immortalize, Singapore’s most comprehensive elderhood marketplace and information provider, as its exclusive real estate partner in its efforts to gamify and create greater awareness about legacy planning. Many a times, people tend to shy away from talking about wills, lasting power of attorney and so on. Through the numerous planned roadshows, talks and games, Huttons hope to break down the taboo surrounding such important topics. Immortalize will be holding its first nationwide Championship for Will of Fortune by Immortalize, a legacy planning strategy card game, in 4Q 2024.

“We will continue to innovate and transform to empower consumers and provide true value for associates to better serve clients across Singapore and international markets. With our clear and forward-looking direction, I am excited for what is in-store for us in the coming years.” Mr Yip concludes.
