A shipyard at 1 Benoi Road is up for sale via an expression of interest (EOI) exercise at a guide price of $11.3 million. Huttons Asia Pte Ltd is the exclusive marketing agency.

The subject property has a land area of over 500,000 sq ft with waterfront access. It comprises a 2-storey office block with a single-storey annex office, 3 blocks of single-storey workshops, mould loft building with shelter and incoming switch room, lifting store and container, hydraulic & diving workshop, winch shed, safety office/canteen/toilet block, heavy load storage area, fabrication workshop, open metal work fabrication workshop, gas and diesel storage area, guard house with store and store shelter, substation, slipway and wharf. The property is suitable for shipbuilding, ship or vessel repair and maintenance.

1 Benoi Road is located at the south-eastern junction of Benoi Road and Pioneer Road, within Jurong Industrial Estate and approximately 24.0 km from the City Centre. Towards the north-east are housing estates such as Jurong East/West, Bukit Batok, Boon Lay Gardens, etc. which provide convenient sources of labour supply. The nearby Ayer Rajah Expressway and Pan-Island Expressway facilitate access to other parts of the island. The Joo Koon MRT station is within close proximity to the property.
