Are you planning to buy an EC in 2020?

Only one executive condominium (EC) was launched last July; Piermont Grand by City Developments Limited and TID Pte. Ltd. With three upcoming developments, the market will be more exciting this year. Following the raise of the monthly income ceiling for EC buyers from S$14,000 to S$16,000 last September too, more of you (subjected to HDB restrictions) will be eligible.

Here are the ECs launches to look out for in 2020:

1. Parc Canberra

2. Ola at Anchorvale Crescent
Located near Sengkang Town Centre, this project by Evia Real Estate and Gamuda has pretty good access to amenities and daily conveniences. Sengkang Riverside Park and Sengkang Sports Complex are also close by. This project is also minutes’ drive away from Sengkang MRT station and Cheng Lim LRT station. Some of the schools in the vicinity include Nan Chiau Primary School, Compassvale Primary and Secondary Schools, to meet education needs of families with children.

3. Tampines Avenue 10 EC

This coveted site within a matured estate will also be developed by Hoi Hup Sunway. With possibly up to 700 units, more families would be able to enjoy the wide variety of amenities in the heart of the regional centre of Tampines. For instance, Our Tampines Hub offers various sports and community facilities while Tampines Mall, Tampines 1, and Century Square are close by. In addition, Tampines MRT station and the Tampines West Station along the Downtown Line are also a short distance away.

All in all, demand for ECs will be robust, especially with the expanded pool of eligible buyers. Depending on the pick-up rates, there could even be a fourth EC launch at a site beside Parc Canberra. Remember to check the HDB EC eligibility schemes and rules before planning further.
