Singapore: Today, Huttons Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Yip as its new CEO, effective from 1 November 2020. He succeeds Mr Goh Kee Nguan who resigned on 12 August 2020 to pursue other business interests.
The management of Huttons thank Mr Goh for his leadership over the past seven years and his role in accelerating the adoption of technology among associates.
The appointment of Mr Mark Yip comes at an exciting time for the company who is celebrating its 18th anniversary and embarking on a new chapter of growth with new associates from Savills.
In welcoming Mr Yip, Mr Chris Marriott, Chief Executive Officer, Savills South East Asia and Huttons Director said: “After growing rapidly for the past 18 years to be the preferred agency of choice, it is time to step up digital innovation and chart our next stage of growth. Mark brings about a wealth of experience from the developer’s perspective. His industry experience coupled with his past regional roles bodes well with the company’s vision to solidify our position in the local and regional market.
At the same time, Huttons also refreshed its vision and mission. In unveiling the new vision and mission, Ms Peggy Ngiam, Huttons Executive Director and KEO said: “Our priority is to sharpen our focus and create better value for our clients and agents in this new digital world. Digital transformation is a journey. We have invested in online learning before Covid-19 and we will continue to set aside a portion of our revenue yearly for digital transformation to make our agents future-ready.”

Mr Mark Yip （叶润明）was appointed as City Developments Limited (CDL)’s Chief Marketing Officer in 2014, heading the Marketing & Sales, and Leasing operations of residential, retail and commercial spaces. On 1 February 2018, Mr Yip was re-designated Chief Revenue Officer（首席营收官）, responsible for driving revenue growth and revenue-generating activities through departments & countries. In addition, Mr Yip was also CEO （首席执行官）of CDL China Limited（城市发展（中国）有限公司）, an appointment held since April 2016. He oversaw the management of the Group’s investments and development projects in China, as well as developed and implemented the Group’s real estate investment and business strategies for China.
Mr Yip has a wealth of experience in management, sales & marketing and operations from a diverse range of industries including property, retail sports & fashion, transport, supply chain and logistics management. Before joining CDL, Mr Yip was with Far East Organization as Deputy Director, focusing on sales planning and operations. His other past key senior management positions include CEO of Royal Sporting House, Malaysia and Director of PUMA, Executive Director of CircleFreight, Brunei/ Eagle Global Logistics Corporation and General Manager of ComfortDelGro Bus.
