Huttons announces strategic cooperation with FOZL

Singapore: A strategic cooperation agreement was signed by Huttons Group and FOZL Group.
The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in market development, marketing and customer service optimisation to achieve mutual benefits and a win-win situation.

Mr Mark Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Huttons Asia said that the combined strengths and resources
of both parties will provide more comprehensive services to targeted segments, and achieve a win-win  position in terms of co-branding, joint marketing and customer service optimisation. The cooperation will  contribute to the creation of a one-stop service platform for Chinese enterprises and entrepreneurs seeking to settle down or expand their business in Singapore.

In addition, a series of training, knowledge sharing and networking activities will be introduced under this
exclusive arrangement. These will empower more Huttons associates with the latest insights on Chinese clients’ buying trends and preference, and enable them to tap into new markets. There will also be greater exposure for the over 130 developer projects that Huttons is marketing in Singapore across residential, commercial and industrial properties.

It is well established that Singapore is recognised as one of the most ideal countries in the world for doing
business and living because of its sound financial regulation, strong rule of law, and political stability.  Singapore ranked first in the latest Global Competitiveness Report and also in Gallup’s Law & Order index. On top of that, Singapore has established itself as one of the leading private banking and wealth management centres globally, which makes it attractive to high net worth individuals. According to a report on 6 October 2020, the number of single family offices in Singapore numbered about 200.

Even amidst the pandemic, Singapore is still a preferred destination for many businesses and investors.
This year has witnessed many of China’s technology giants such as Alibaba, Tencent and ByteDance setting up their regional headquarters in Singapore. Against this backdrop, we believe that the collaboration between Huttons and FOZL will add value to both parties’ customers and contribute to building a sound business ecosystem for the future, added Ms Felinka Zhou, Director of FOZL.

With Singapore lifting border restrictions for visitors from mainland China, this cooperation is timely as it
enables us to serve more clients who have keen interests to invest here. We will continue our online educational consumer seminars conducted in various languages such as Chinese and Korean for those who are unable to travel too,” Mark further commented.
