Rental volume for both the condo and HDB market seemed to have peaked in September.
Tenants have remained largely the same with little incremental demand.
Moving forward, the setting up of Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) will provide a much needed salve for the rental market. Travellers under the VTL can come to Singapore without the need for lengthy quarantine. This will increase the attractiveness of Singapore as a key global business hub, create more jobs and boost demand for homes.
