Huttons signs MOU with SLA to Co-Innovate Geospatial Solutions in Real Estate

Singapore: Today, Huttons signs an MOU with the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) to collaborate in joint geospatial co-innovation to improve on hyperlocal or granular real estate data in Singapore.

Mr Mark Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Huttons Group said, “OneMap is the authoritative national map of Singapore with the most detailed and timely updated information developed by SLA. With this collaboration, our salespersons can serve their clients better with detailed information like property transaction data, distance to schools and amenities. Our salespersons will be contributing data to OneMap so that the community in Singapore can benefit too.”

Mr Colin Low, Chief Executive of SLA said, “SLA seeks to collaborate with industry leaders to drive innovation through geospatial solutions. We are happy to have Huttons onboard to create value-added services for the community. Through more collaboration and innovation with the private sector, this will drive adoption of OneMap datasets to benefit more people and support Singapore’s drive towards a smart nation.”

Under initiatives of the MOU, Huttons will explore collecting data on selected features within selected industrial and/or private residential developments in Singapore to enhance OneMap. Huttons will further integrate OneMap into their websites and applications. It will include the potential development of customised Application Programming Interface (API) for usage by both parties and the community.

“We just launched a new app called Huttons Analyzer, an analytics solution which also integrates OneMap. Our salespersons are now empowered with essential data across projects, resale HDB, Landed, Commercial and Industrial properties at their fingertips. Furthermore, they can compare projects on potential profitability and risk for clients to make more informed decisions. We look forward to deeper collaborations with Government agencies to value add everyone looking for properties,” Mr Yip concludes.
