Senior System Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily IT operations support for all IT infrastructure, systems (firewall, servers, switches, etc), data backup & storage, network, digital workplace solutions, end-user computing support, and IT assets
• Responsible for infrastructure-related activities including evaluation, implementation, equipment upgrade, maintenance, and support.
• Oversee and execute day-to-day activities in ensuring the reliability, availability and end user systems, services, PCs and infrastructure through established IT Operations policies, procedures and processes.
• Liaise and align with software development team for escalation, project implementation and management, redundancy and high-availability solution.
• Manage outsourced partners and third-party service providers on service level, quality of services provided.
• Provide end-user support to agents and staff related to apps, systems and hardware.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Experience in managing Fortinet firewall
• At least 5 years’ experience in managing infrastructure and systems support.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing network and security equipment such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection systems, Routers, Switches, VPN.
• Knowledge of using popular cloud service providers (AWS, Azure & GCP)
• Experience with vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (VAPT) tools would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, good team player and willing to learn new skillsets
• Willing to work on weekends/public holidays for event support as and when required
• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident or Malaysian with Employment Pass
