​Finding the right property agent is a lot like dating—you sit through a lot of ghosting and broken promises before you finally find "The One." ​Before reaching out to Kelvin on TikTok, my property had been sitting on the market for five grueling months. In all that time, we had a grand total of three viewings, and my previous agent was largely a mythical figure—frequently spoken of, but rarely seen. ​Enter Kelvin. ​From the moment I messaged him on that fateful night, his response time and marketing efficiency were unprecedented. He didn't just list the property; he breathed life into the sale. ​Of course, no real estate journey is without its plot twists. We encountered a few hiccups along the way, which triggered a barrage of incessant questions from me. Kelvin handled my anxiety with the patience of a saint. Alan in my view, went above and beyond what was expected, and took the initiative to let me know what was to be expected and what was to be prepared for, throughout the entire purchasing process. Without him, frankly the entire process would not have gone as smoothly (for example, incorrect details on the cashiers order I purchased but he checked it and I managed to fix it before I left the bank). My selling agent was engaged before I found Alan otherwise I would have also engaged him. Even though he was not involved in my sale, he was very gracious in offering his views and help (without being compensated) even though there was no need for him to help especially since he had already closed the purchase for me. Beyond all that - the most important thing was he found me a place which would otherwise never have landed on my radar because I had very specific criteria and the available options frankly were limited. He was very patient and convinced me to take a shot and look at something which was in a location I never considered and it actually worked. I think this was the most value add a property agent can give because if left to my own devices I would not know where to look beyond my very limited criteria (where clearly nothing was available as I had already spent months looking and came up with nothing)

Helen started to journey with me in getting my own home from 13 March to 20 June 2021, giving me an idea which area is convenient for me. l have learnt a lot from her on what to look out for e.g. the direction of the house, what kind of neighbours next door etc. Then when I have the funds, we started to view homes again from 20 September to 1 November 2025. Unfortunately, something happened to the unit owner whom I wanted to purchase from, and so we continued to search and view homes from 11 January to 14 April 2026 and finally I got the unit I wanted.
